It did not fulfill that purpose (only works on laptop screen and 1 monitor), either way I settled for it as I wfh.After couple of weeks this splitter stopped working The one monitor does not show up anymore. It was a waste of money unfortunately.

Plugged into an HDMI output on my computer, split between a monitor and a TV, two black screens. They work independently so no issue with either monitor or TV.
