Normally Open ContactsThe seller should put “normally open” contact type in the headline description. The pieces received all operated correctly and were normally open. The contacts appear to close when the magnet got within about two inches of the relay. The plastic housing appears quite feeble, but is so far soft enough that it won’t crack. Not sure how long the plastic will hold up if exposed to sunlight over a long period of time. In all, a good transaction.

Thick componentsArrived on time. The unit works but the thickness of the components are lot more than what I was expecting. Make sure you have clearing between your sliding door and the frame before you order this.

“Normally Open” or “Normally Closed”… I don’t know.I was hoping to get one that was normally open, but the one I got was normally closed – totallly useless in my use case.One screw was stuck too. Bad quality.
