I spent hours looking for an adapter that was able to do extend mode in simultaneous displays and this one was the only one that has the description for it, all the other are switches.It works like a charm just plug in and play, just make sure your laptop has a USB-C port which has the lighting symbol next to it.I couldn’t be happier amazing product, easy solution and great price. I wanted to be able to have visibility to view three screens at once but my laptop only had one HDMI port so I did some research for an adapter or splitter and came across this product on Amazon. I was a little leery at first because the price was so reasonable (similar items were selling for up to $70 at other retailers) but I figured it was worth a try. Well the adaptor just same this morning and took me less than 10mins to fully set up (hooking up cords and setting up the different screens). I definitely this is was worth every penny and I’m very happy I went ahead a bought it. Disclaimer: I have Windows 10, so everything configured very easily.

After a while gets really hot and the audio starts cutting in and out. Sometimes when it gets hot the video starts to cut out too. Overall inferior product. I though it was ok so I didn’t return in the return window to get the one for $5 more, but now I regret being stuck with it. I tried different setups and troubleshooting and sourced the problem to this item. Worst $5 I ever saved.The other one that works much better is the SABRENT brand.

Easily connects and extends to two monitors or three screensI wanted to use this to connect my laptop to two external monitors. It connected them well and showed three separate displays. One my laptop screen and two monitors extended. However, I noticed that the screen resolution of my monitors got reduced compared to when I plug in the hdmi cable directly into my laptop.I though why should I pay to get a lower resolution. I will instead use the VGA inlet in my laptop to connect the other monitor. This takes care of the resolution and also the heating that was happening in this adapter. I did not realize that the laptop already has two inlets (hdmi and vga) that I can use to connect two monitors. actually the laptop also has a usbc inlet for a third monitor. I was only buying this adapter to reduce the number of plugins. But I think to get the desired resolution there is no way around it and these adapters are only doing the same thing with lower resolution. I will return it and use the VGA inlet along with the HDMI inlet instead.

I searched for HDMI splitters and found out you can do that with a USB C HDMI splitter. After further research, I found this device and bought it. I was able to connect my two monitors with my laptop using this device! Both of my monitors and the laptop are using 1920×1080 resolution. The setup was very straightforward. I plugged the USB C attached to this device into my laptop, and then I connected two HDMI cables to my monitors. After that, I set up my Windows 10 to extend the screen to the monitors. A good device with great value!

This splitter is very affordable and does everything that a splitter should do. I was a bit apprehensive about ordering it because I saw several reviews saying that it only did screen mirroring and it didn’t extend monitors into multiple displays. I decided to order it anyway and that was totally false. The splitter allows me to use my laptop with two other monitors and have each monitor as a separate display. I definitely 10/10 recommend this product!

Both of monitors were recognized immediately and the picture quality is perfect. Unfortunately, it did not work well with my Mac Mini M1; only one of my monitors were recognized. I unplugged one of the HDMI cables from the adapter and plugged it directly into my M1, then both monitors were discoverable. I will replace this adapter with a usb-c to HDMI cable.

It was super easy to install with the type c port to my laptop and the hdmi ports to each of my monitors. I even managed to tuck it away in my wire concealer.
