Solid build, but not bulky.Works perfectly for HDMI (computer) to VGA (monitor) operation.As expected, this is only for video (as audio is lost and not possible through VGA).The product is slim, not bulky, with a non-kinking cable that keeps its shape.Although short, the purpose is to convert and then attach to a VGA cable to get to the monitor. Very good.

Item did not workThis item was returned for a refund. It simply didn’t work. I tried using it with my macbook pro. Currently Im using a mini display port to VGA adapter and that works just fine with my second monitor. Upon plugging in the device and connecting it to my 2nd monitor the laptop would repeatedly connect then disconnect to the monitor. So now ive gone back to using the mini display port dongle.

Didn’t work for me – what finally did was HDMI to DVI port insteadThis didn’t work to connect my bluray disc player to my computer diaplay in this particular case just right – tried a different brand of thus sort of connector – only to find that an HDMI to the DVI port (rather than the monitor’s VGA port) seemed to be what this disc player arrangement was meant to do – ta

Works greatGoing into work and having to bring my laptop. I didn’t want to carry a long cable to connect laptop to office monitor, so I chose this product. Works great and great prices.

Works as it shouldWas sceptical at first as to whether or not it would work as the old projector I want to use it with only has a serial port, and its old. I was delighted to see it actually worked and have now breathed new life into my old projector, which is now compatible with the new tech that uses HDMI connections, thanks to this little adapter.

Super little adaptor cable for older projectorsOccasionally I encounter a customers location that does not have a projector with HDMI ou/in, only VGA so I needed this and it works well.Not much more I can say.Be sure you are looking at HDMI vs. display port type.

Nice cable but doesn’t deliver good image qualityThe first thing that I noticed when using this cable is that the image on my monitor is darker than it should. I think it may have a bad power design as the image’s brightness is lost. I bought this cable for the aesthetics, which is a bad reason to choose this cable. It’s not very flexible. You can fold the cable but not rotate it along its length. A regular plastic cable would have been more flexible.

it does exactly as labelled!I use this on an dell poweredge server when I need to access it directly—it exports VGA to HDMI and that is all. exactly what I wanted it for and performs well
