Nice adapter (but not USB)This seems like a quality adapter, good fit and picture seems good. It’s actually not what I was looking for. I searched for USB to HDMI and this came up with the subtitle “USB for HDMI”. I didn’t pay attention to the connector end so clicked purchase. I will still use it, just wasn’t what I expected, but that’s my own fault.

Died after 6 monthsBE WARNED. Mine stopped working after 6 months.It was exactly what I was looking for. So I could keep my monitor connected to an hdmi but switch adapters between my work laptop (display port) and my personal laptop (lightening). The hdmi and lightening connection still works, so I know the issue is with this cable. Disappointed I’ll have to purchase another one (from a different brand).

Works perfectly. Also lifetime warranty ftw.Purchased June 30. Received today. Not bad as July 3 was a holiday.Works as described, no issues so far. The best part is it has a lifetime warranty which you can register within 14 days of purchasing. A little warranty card is included with the email address and instructions for registering.Nice packaging included – sealed so you know it’s new. I had to cut the top off the Ziploc like bag.Will write back of there are any issues. Wilbert buying more Rankie products in the future.

It just worksHDMI has a royalty so some computers or monitors have gone to DisplayPort.DP to HDMI cables are actually the same price, and you don’t need a a separate cable like this one. But, if you’re like me and actually need to go back and forth to accommodate different machines, its easier to have an adapter that one can plug in when its needed.Ultimately, this just works. It has a decent price and does what its supposed to do.

Works greatThis was the second one I had to buy since the first one was lost during a move. But I did not hesitate to purchase this one again. The first one worked great, and this one performs the same. Plug and play. The device is recognized instantly and the connection is seamless. Great product. And cheap too!
