I used it to connect an Acurite weather station display with PC connect. I wanted the display in my tv room instead of near my computer, and I had an ethernet jack near the TV anyhow. The cable run between the TV room and the computer room is probably 35 to 40 feet through solid copper cat6. For the connections between the wall jack and the devices I found the smallest network cables I had to keep voltage drop to a minimum. (3 feet I think)Worked perfectly first try with no random disconnects or other problems I expected might happen.The devices themselves don’t seem super high end or anything, but they seem to be reasonable quality and I expect they will last.Comes as a pair where one adapter is male usb to network and the other is female usb to network.
