    Great if you own an Audi with a rattling license plate.Audi loves to over engineer things. The rear license plate on my 2015 S4 has a mounting plate that attaches to the car via 2 hex screws, and 2 strips of adhesive. The license plate then screws into this mounting plate with 4 screws. The nuts that clip into the mounting plate break over time, so you get broken pieces of metal rattling around, and nothing to screw your license plate to.Someone on Audizine recommended these, and they worked perfectly. Simply remove license plate, unscrew the 2 torx screws, take a heat gun and warm up the 2 horizontal indented strips for about a minute. Then grab the mounting plate by one corner, and slowly pull. If heated enough, you’ll feel it break way, and a bunch of broken metal tabs will fall on your driveway floor. Then clip in these new nut pieces, reassemble and your license plate will be solid and rattle free. Probably will even look better with the new silver screws too.Hope this helps someone!
