Amazon.ca Product Description

The CyberPower PDU15M10AT, a 10-outlet (rear), 1U rackmount metered automatic transfer switch (ATS) power distribution unit (PDU), provides 100-120V 15A output. The PDU distributes unfiltered electrical pass-through to 10 NEMA 5-15R receptacles from redundant NEMA 5-15P plugs. Dual power cords can be plugged into separate power sources to provide redundancy to single-corded connected equipment. If power for the primary source exceeds the lower or upper thresholds, or if power fails, the PDU will switch to the secondary power source to ensure continuous operation. The PDU will switch back to the primary power source when incoming power becomes stable. The current draw for connected equipment is displayed in amps on the front LCD for real-time load monitoring.

From the Manufacturer

The cyber power pdu15m10at, a 10-outlet 1u rack mount metered auto transfer switch (ATS) power distribution unit (PDU), provides 100-120v / 15a output. The LCD provides local monitoring of the PDU. Perform load management by using the display to measure the electrical current (displayed in amperes) used by connected equipment. The LCD can also display input and output voltages, to diagnose potential issues with input ac power. Active power consumption (displayed in kilowatts) and hardware and firmware versions are also viewable on the LCD screen. The pdu15m10at includes a SNMP/HTTP card slot for adding an rmcard202 or rmcard203 (sold separately). With the addition of the SNMP card and an IP address on the network interface, users have real-time monitoring of the ATS PDU. The cyber power management console provides real-time remote monitoring of PDU vitals and event logging to review historical power conditions, such as input voltages, load levels, and outlet status. Automatic event notifications can be sent to designated users when power events occur, via email, SMS text, or SNMP trap. Designed for datacenters and other demanding electrical applications, the pdu15m10at has a rugged, industrial-grade metal housing, a 10-foot ac power cord, and a cord retention tray. It can be mounted horizontally and is ul60950_1 and CSA c22.2 Certified by ETL and FCC class a certified. An industry leading three-year warranty.

10 reviews for CyberPower PDU15M10AT Metered ATS PDU, 100-120V/15A, 10 Outlets, 1U Rackmount

  1. Randall B.

Nice capability but there’s a catchI really like that I can switch out a UPS without taking anything down. Having two UPS configured is really nice and I like that. I would have given 5 stars, except for the difficulty I have is that the vendor wants me to buy an extra remote network controller (about the same price as the unit itself) just so I can upgrade the firmware. The manual suggests that the firmware can be upgraded without it, but you need a windows Hyper Terminal utility program, which is no longer available as part of Windows for YModem uploads. It really seems like an up-sell to me. I am disappointed.

Works great with my Goal Zero 1250 battery backup / generator. This ATS switched instantly from the AC outlet to my battery backup Goal Zero 1250. No outage at all when the power goes out. Use it with any backup power supply to switch power sources. When power source A goes out (wall outlet), it will instantly switch to power source B (battery backup system or generator).

This thing is great. I did some sketchy daytime UPS work yesterdayThis thing is great. I did some sketchy daytime UPS work yesterday, and accidentally switched power sources. None of the machine on the ATS reacted to the power switch. My configuration is Source A as a UPS, and Source B as utility power (regular wall outlet on a different breaker than the UPS.I bought this after having an entire rack of equipment shut down at 2 AM because the UPS failed without warning, and ironically, the network path allowing us to switch to failover equipment was on the dead UPS. With this new ATS strip/switch in place, a dead UPS will not result in downtime.I’m buying more of these for other plants with mission-critical loads.

Packed with features & built like a Tank! This is essentially a PDU (a fancy industry name for a large power strip) that acts like a transfer switch, so it lets you select one of two power sources for all devices connected to it (that presumably only have one power cord). This PDU goes beyond this by offering loading information, transfer targets (based on Frequency or Voltage) and operator-initiated transfer capabilities through an easy to navigate through menu displayed via an LCD display.Installation took less than five minutes from start of unboxing, and was straightforward.I am normally an APC/Schneider Electric customer, but I am glad I ventured out of my comfort zone and purchased this unit! It truly is packed with features and appears to be built to last (6 months and counting!)!I hope this review helps you make an informed purchasing decision…

  6. Spock

It works well!Switches SUPER fast. I have two CyberPower Sine Wave UPSs connected to it. It switches so quickly that there isn’t the slightest effect on any of the connected devices. Well worth the money, which is around 1/3 what most ATSs go for!

  7. Daniel Manners

Super impressed! Not sure what more there is to say. This does exactly what it says it does, handles cutovers well, and I haven’t been able to break it despite trying. Nice work CyberPower!

  8. tenny321

Good luck with supportThere support team does not exist. Have reached out about 6 times over 2 weeks without a responds. Broken device and support just failed

  9. Sam Miller

Have not had power issues since installing thisNo issues here. Prior to installing, our server rack would crash after any power loss. Now that the ATS is installed, that issue is gone. Source A is the wall, source B is a cyber power battery

  10. Bill

ReliabilityThe reliability of this device is questionable at best. If you are going to buy one, get the service plan.
