The graphics card has 4 video ports, one digital/analog combo (DVI-I) and 3 digital only (HDMI, DVI-D and DisplayPort). I needed two VGA which is easy if you have enough DVI-I but I had only one and no dedicated VGA on the card. Multiple adapter choices available such as HDMI to VGA or DisplayPort to VGA. My main concern was video quality and resolution. I had run into higher resolution difficulties in the past with VGA to HDMI adapters.I wound up ordering this adapter and I just fired it up today and the video quality is excellent. To be fair I’m not using high resolution. It is connected to an “aging” 46″ Sony KDL46S2000 LCD TV that sports only a single HDMI and VGA. The HDMI was already connected to a PVR. The resolution is only 1360×768 which should hardly be taxing this device. I have not tried this device at higher resolutions.
