Works sort of. When running two power supply’s second needs to start first. Most of the time anything attached to this (second power supply) is not found.Plus it started to smoke and burnt out pins on the atx 24 pin on the power supply. Could have caught fire if I did not see it.Stay away from this. If you need to run two power supply’s you are better off using a atx tester that leaves the second on all the time, or jumper pins 3 and 4.

I researched for about an hour on reddit and google trying to find information on why I could not get these modules working and everyone said that they were probably DOA. I checked connections multiple times, power cycled numerous times, etc. and nothing seemed to work.I came across someone on reddit saying that they had used the MOLEX power cord that came with their 2nd PSU on their primary PSU thinking it wouldn’t be a big deal, and after using the MOLEX cable that was provided with the FIRST PSU, it worked. I ran out of options and didn’t think it made sense, considering both of my PSUs are the same brand, same model, but the 2nd PSU is a newer version of the 1st PSU.After using the MOLEX cable that came in the box with the 1st PSU, it worked immediately. I was very surprised to see this. After using this cord, my system has been online ever since and have had no issues.I only gave 4 stars because the padding beneath the 2nd module was not applied properly. Aside from that, the product works as intended.

The other one appeared to workOne of the two adapters was defective. It kept making a clicking noise and the second PSU would keep restarting. Possibly a bad relay. The other one appeared to work. These look a cheaper than the Genetek Electric adapters that I usually buy. I didn’t feel comfortable using this one and just ordered more of the Genetek ones. These are cheap but I’d stick to the other brands personally.

The ability to have it shut down the other power supply while dual PSU’n on mining rigs is a must have incase of the system crashing. These also have pads on the back like the PCI risers have.
