People on the Dell site seemed to have a lot of trouble getting a second video card to be recognized and declared it didn’t work. I tried a lot and nothing seemed to work. I left the computer for about 24 hours and then found the card had been discovered in the device manager and was working. So, be patient with old Dell’s.

It will free up some of your system memory as a bonus. If you want to play, it’s ok for emulation and old games, I wish you luck for anything modern. Multimedia is better than onboard and I am happy. Tested with W10 W11 and many recent Linux distros. For office work, multi display, it is perfect. If you have the longer PCIe slot available, get the other version. A bit overpriced finally.
