Multi-tasking made easyIf this came with low profile plates it would get 5 stars. When the low profile plates arrived it was easy to fit the card to the plates and put the card in my Dell Optiplex 7010 Small Form Factor case. If you make a low profile card why not include the plates?Well, it is now up and running. I have now got 3 monitors which is really good if you are learning photoshop. I have the main monitor with the image I am editing, the second has all the pallets so I can have the image as large as I like, while the third monitor lets me watch a training video on u-tube,This card works really well for this setup and I am delighted with it.I know that demanding games require a much better card, but That is not where my interests lie.I have also used it for office tasks. I use an open-source office suite (Libre Office)I can have a text document open, a spread sheet and my email all visible and this is much easier than switching from one open document to another.I am a man who can multi-task!!!!!

The hardware does the job, the software and packaging less so.My PC has an integrated graphics adapter on the motherboard, and could not support the 2560 x 1440 monitor that I wanted to use for photo editing, so I bought the lowest spec graphics card I could find. I was really easy to install, and I now have support for my new monitor. As stated in other reviews, the card supports audio over HDMI so if (like mine) your monitor has speakers you won’t need an audio cable. The huge downside is the software CD that came in the box. I foolishly allowed it do its default install which took an unbelievable 15 minutes, and left me with a series of programs of no apparent use whatever and entirely lacking in documentation but failed to give me access to the software depicted on the product carton which was allegedly going to let me “tune” the graphics card. After 2 days of problems during which my Windows 7 desktop kept resetting itself I removed all the NVIDIA software other than the drivers, and have restored some stability.Lastly the system requirements listed on the box in many languages are a typeface so small as to be unreadable.

NOT a low profile cardI took account of the fact that others have said that the bracket makes it too big for a low profile case, but the height is given as 6.9cm which would fit in my htpc case. With the bracket (and you have to have a bracket, and no alternative is supplied) it’s over 11cm, so completely useless. I’m amazed this has such a high rating: people are either fitting them in full size cases or are very forgiving. The recommended replacement short bracket costs nearly £5 which is a lot for 2 small metal strips, and even if I felt so inclined, they don’t ship to where I live. A complete waste of time and money. I have returned it.

Excellent 3-monitor cardWorks great with three monitors (VGA, DVI, HDMI) at the same time. It does also allow 4K resolution at 30Hz on the DVI port if you prefer to use that instead of HDMI.If you also have an ASUS motherboard that supports the feature, then you can change a BIOS option to allow the on-board VGA to be used AT THE SAME TIME as three monitors on this PCIExpressx16 card and you can then use four monitors on your computer. One thing to note, if you have a Windows 10 UEFI installation then (depending on what this card replaced, if any) Windows will consider this card a major change in hardware and may ask you to reinstall even if it was working fine before putting the card into your system (this is what the strange message you may get at boot means). This is not a major issue as by now people are getting used to having to install several times but better to have a backup and a Windows 10 install DVD ready BEFORE installing this card. Once you reinstall, Windows will recognise your system and work again. Also note that when first using the card you will be prompted to download the NVidia Control Panel app. I strongly recommend that you do that (it will come up as a store download for £0.00 and then you can download and install). Although Windows 10 does allow a lot of graphic settings, it is all too easy these days to set a monitor at the wrong refresh rate and/or resolution (for example, setting 1920×1200 on a 1920×1080 VGA monitor) and end up with an “Out of range” message – you then find that despite Windows 10 allowing you to reset a monitor, it does not appear to reset both refresh rate and resolution at the same time so the error remains. However, the NVidia control panel will allow you to correctly reset a monitor to “default” settings and your monitor will work again. The temperature of this graphics card starts at around 26 degrees on my system and with average use goes up to 65 degrees throughout the day (about two thirds of the max threshold) while hovering over 46 degrees when the computer is not in use. You will either need a desktop with a lot of space (if all you have is one small and one large PCIx slot it’s likely to be fine) so if you’re using card along with lots of other cards in lots of slots you will need to have a reliable cooling system inside the PC. You can look at the logs to see what the temperature was at various times throughout the day.Overall, apart from the original installation, a set-and-forget card that just works. Lots of extra options if you want to utilise the tweak settings.

Workstaion orientatedUsed in conjunction with an Intel i3 9100F cpu which does not come with an itergrated graphics chip. This card is fine for use in a workstation using office programs, listening to music, surfing the web and some very light gaming, to be honest if your into gaming then get a more powerful card as this scores very lowly on userbench for gaming.Rear connections for monitors are good, HDMI, VGA, and DVI-D so well catered for in that respect. No noise as fanless and nice and low profile which suits my build SilverStone SST-GD09B – Grandia HTPC case.Overall a good little card if your stuck for a gpu and only need it for basic operation.

Simple plug in and work video card.If you’re not about high performance, “bleeding edge” graphics, then this card is great. Dropped into my new PC and instantly worked with Linux and its built in drivers. Dual monitor display work great. Is it good value? Hard to judge for me. As I needed a video card for the PC (no onboard video available) then this card from a recognised manufacturer using a standard chipset ticked all the boxes I needed at a price I was happy with. Is it possible to get more “bang for your buck”? Possibly, but at this end of the market there’s not much wriggle room so not a lot to be saved IMHO.

I bought this for my computer at work, unfortunately …I bought this for my computer at work, unfortunately it wouldn’t work. I left it for a while as I thought it was something I was doing wrong when trying to install it, but then a professional IT man came in to work and took a look and said the product just wasn’t working at all. Unfortunately I didn’t realise until it was too late for a refund 🙁

Card working fine but considering its a low profile card I was …Card working fine but considering its a low profile card I was a little disappointed to not find a low profile bracket supplied in the box.Have to source a bracket elsewhere I guess

Great graphics card for moneyGreat graphics card, does all what you require, windows 10 said it was not compatible when I first set it up, but once windows 10 was installed I just did search on internet via the drivers update and it was sorted , great value, not a games card but great for office and net surfing and YouTube videos. ASUS make great quality products so you know you can rely on it.
