Cable is a little too short, but works!I installed both switch wires, one on its own computer. What I wanted was a remote start/stop pushbutton between the computers (tucked deep under the desks) and the top surface of the desks, where they would be out of the way but easily reachable by hand (to avoid bending awkwardly to reach the start button located on the computer front panel). My setup required a longer cable run that the one coming with each switch, so I added an extender cable to each of them and positioned the switches on their designated locations on the desks. Of course, I had to remove each computer’s side panel to reach inside, where I simply removed the existing power switch cable and installed instead the cable run from the switch (affixed on the desk with a double-sided tape). It worked from the first try on both computers, so the switches work fine. One star taken down due to the shorter than required cable length (the vendor should at least provide an option with a longer cable for users like myself).

Worked perfectlyCame quickly. I’m glad I ordered the two pack. Having the piece of mind that there’s a backup in case the first one fails later is always a good thing. Item came quickly, and was very easy to install and remove. Great for testing PC hardware before building it fully in a case.

End switch separated from the wires fairly easily. Little disappointed, glad I had a spare.Had one come apart on me? not even pulling that much, specifically, the switch came easily off the end of the wires, which is not easily re-connected. Glad I had two, but little disappointed in how easily they came apart. Put it this way, the connector to the motherboard was still connected when the switch came off the wires, which tells you how little i was pulling on the cable. For the price, I ordered two and was happy I did.
