Not as durable as I expectedI assembled the patch panel with ease, but when I was plugging in ethernet cables, I noticed that plugging in cables into the front of the panel the keystones snapped out of place requiring me to re-insert the keystones and that’s the only downside to this patch panel other than that, This is a great patch panel who have trouble with their hands and fingers punching down cables in the back of regular patch panels an alternative patch panel that just requires already terminating cables plugged into the back of the patch panel and make things easier for all!

What they don’t tell youThe whole thing is made out of plastic. It comes unassembled you have to put it together. The instructions that come with it or for a different item than the one you have. And the instructions don’t really tell you how to put it together it’s not hard to figure out, but it’s very cheaply made and sometimes does not go together without messing around with it. They leave a lot of information out of the description

Good quality built for residential or small home/office.The days of punch down patch panels are a thing of the past. I’m in the middle of installing a network for the flex room in my house. Tested all jacks. Passed. Using it for PoE.

Good but perhaps missing components?Cable tested and passthrough seems to be working. My package only came with 2 keystone jacks but the seller title says it comes “fully loaded.”Do I have to purchase them separately? Kind of bummed out that it only came with 2.

You get what you pay for 🙁You get what you pay for. This unit is -somewhat- economical, but the RJ-45 connectors – at least on the back – are finicky about what connectors they accept. Many RJ-45 plugs needed to be worked into place to fit into the jacks. The Jacks are brittle plastic and this movement would cause them to break sometimes. Seemingly prepared for this, the manufacturer ships two spare jacks – so I had spares to swap in. The poor quality lingers, however, and I expect issues in the long term. Wish I had purchased a name-brand patch panel. This was not inexpensive, but also not top shelf. Not ready for prime time, for sure. I’m using this at home. If this were at work, I’d be replacing it. Buyer beware.

Cheap solution for a complicated issue.I decided to get a cat hub to simplify the adding and removing of cat cables for a rack I was building over the weekend. Turned out well, the cat sockets in the back of the server was a pain to access. Now everything is right in front of the rack. From box to install took less then a few minutes, including assembly, however saved countless hours digging in the back of the rack to install and remove cat cables. Definitely worth the price. It was packaged well and was shipped without issue, on time. Would buy again.

Bought for my home data closetThis is a nice little addition to my home data closet rack. I am working on cleaning up the massive amount of cable that I have coming into the closet. Easy to install, comes with a couple extra patch couplers, and works great. No issues

Requires a little assembly, but works goodThis requires you to insert all the jacks into the plate to begin and slide the ears in. They give you two extra ones if needed, which in my case was. One of the plastic jacks the back came off, instead of trying to fix it I simply pitched it and used one of the spares. All jacks tested working with a tester and once mounted its a nice clean and sturdy product. Includes screws to mount as well.

Connectors Found to be faultySpent close to 4 hours troubleshooting CAT 5/6 runs that were not workingRewired, traced, used another (faulty product) for testing runsultimately the problem was the connector in the panel was faultyAnother point of failure that is unreliable and I have only used 20% of the panel which is a high failure rate
