10 reviews for Patriot Viper 4 Blackout Series DDR4 8GB (2 x 4GB) 3000MHz DRAM Kit

  1. Eric Morin

Not stable at 2933 MhzI can’t get a stable system running this RAM at 2933 Mhz. I assembled a mini ITX system with a Ryzen 3200G and ASRock B450 Gaming mini ITX. This RAM is listed as compatible and should run at 2933 Mhz with my motherboard. But it’s not stable. I can run at 2800 Mhz though. Not bad, but not the advertised speed. It doesn’t make much of a difference, a maybe 1-2 fps in games (APU). It’s not noticeable. Other than that, it’s memory. It looks ok.

  2. Shavone Granville

Solid ram modulesRam is ram. Check the specs to se if it’s right for you. When mine arrived, the heat spreader on one module has sliding off. I had to reapply it before installation. Anyway I think they look really cool all blacked out. Perfect for a stealthy themed build

  3. Voicingspy

Great value for the moneyI was surprised to find a 3000MHz 8GB RAM kit at this price, since I was looking for budget parts to build my new PC. Both sticks work flawlessly out of the box. I have them running in dual channel paired with my Ryzen 3 1200. It works ok with it. My only issue is that my motherboard doesn’t support this specific RAM at 3200MHz, so in the meantime I am stuck at 2133MHz.

  4. lisa morin dulude

Very great memoryFor this price, cannot go wrong. With XMP, i can get to the advertised 3000MHz and even 3333MHz. This on BOTH Asus b450m-a/csm and MSI b450m pro-vdh MAX. It’s stable, cheap. Totally worth it.

  5. Karl Janz

Would RecommendFor $50 well worth it.No issues with install and runs well to speed in my Ryzen build.

  6. Kev

Doubled our ram in 30 seconds!Added these to my son’s computer in about 30 seconds. Easy upgrade, great price!Just click it!

  7. Rajaud

works perfectly.Got it running in dual channel and set up xmp profile with no issues. Its a good start for a budget system with an AMD apu .

  8. Craig Charlton

Good ram for the cheap!Works perfect!
