Selecting Fail-Safe or Fail-Secure Operation:

  • You can set the operation mode of the Fail Safe or Fail Secure (Factory default: Fail-Secure)
  • Remove the locking screw and loosen the sliding screw
  • Slide the sliding screw to the desired setting. Replace the locking screw and retighten both screws
  • Fail-Safe (NC): Unlocked when power is removed
  • Fail-Secure (NO): Locked when power is removed

    12v DCHi this strike is made for most commercial buildings meaning main door has full window and aluminum, inside offices wood doors and steel frame, you can also do on wood frame required more deep drilling for back to fit in and give more space for wiring, you need to use diode to protect the system, it is made for 12v dc, NOT 24v dc/ac, you need to check with multimeter someone need to press inside apt and multimeter will show voltage rating, this strike is excellent to solve issues when door drops most strikes dont have larger leap it can solve issues, the door CANT BE TIGHT it must be loosen to work properly otherwise you may put pressure and it wont work, door must be juggling a bit its normal, leap moves 1-3%. So if you want the door to be tight dont put strike. For the price you won’t find it no where, this trike valued for clients retail is $185-250$. See pictures attached on which door its compatible best.

    Works perfectlyWorks great replaced a strike plate for a Strata and used lever connectors for wires and resistor supplied with kit and was really simple. Works perfectly might buy some for spares.
