it worked!I actually didn’t have a lot of faith that this would work well because USB is only 5V DC and there is always voltage drop over long wires, but surprisingly I had absolutely no issue with it. I used it to connect an Acurite weather station display with PC connect. I wanted the display in my tv room instead of near my computer, and I had an ethernet jack near the TV anyhow. The cable run between the TV room and the computer room is probably 35 to 40 feet through solid copper cat6. For the connections between the wall jack and the devices I found the smallest network cables I had to keep voltage drop to a minimum. (3 feet I think)Worked perfectly first try with no random disconnects or other problems I expected might happen.The devices themselves don’t seem super high end or anything, but they seem to be reasonable quality and I expect they will last.Comes as a pair where one adapter is male usb to network and the other is female usb to network.

Junk do not buy .So picked up one dead on arrival. The receiver end would just get hot so decided to buy another one as I was past the 30day mark and that one did the same thing . Tried different cat 5 and 6 cables 1ft long and same. Now I’m stuck with one I can’t return not happyThing no work and got hot to the touch

Data not transferedImpossible to remotly run a USB camera with these tranceivers. The device itself is reconnized by the computer but to data transfer doesnt’ seems possible, I actually get a black image from the camera.

I ordered ordered from amazon and they are not working at all.I used them for mouse extension. Unfortunately they didn’t work at all.I changed cat 5 wire as well . But when I plugged in mouse directly i was working perfectly.
